At first I was really happy with the service department. We just moved into the area and I needed help getting my front license plate fitted. They were very pleasant and offered to do it for me. I decided to get an oil change while I was there as they advertised their price as one of the lowest in the area. After the oil change (which was higher priced than on the sign) they told me I needed several things done to the car. Three of which I had just done before I moved. The one thing I did do was get my rear brakes replaced as they said they urgently needed replacing. I feel like I was being hard-sold into doing things to the car that didn't need done, but I took the brakes very seriously and scheduled the change. Well, ever since they changed out my brakes, they squeak. It is really annoying. I will not be going back to them for any routine service. I don't want to feel like I am being up-sold on every little item.
Don't use their service department unless you want to pay $140 for a diagnostic fee that doesn't even cover diagnosing the issue. They wanted another $600 to figure out the issue after telling us it would only be $140. They must not work on many cars if they can't even diagnose their own models. I would find a different mechanic
The sales man kept me there for over 2 hrs, trying to get me in something. But if he had just listened to me on what I was telling him, we could have saved both of us some time. But he was really friendly.
Fast and friendly oil changes but the markup on their parts is ridiculous. They easily charge 25-50% over MSRP. I wish Honda would crack down on dealers ripping off customers. I just order my Honda parts online and still pay less after the shipping charge. Over $40 for an air filter that is $26.77 MSRP. No thanks.
Rob was great! He made everything super easy. Chase the finance manager was great as well. He helped me choose a great financing company with the lowest APR. I will be buying another car from Patterson Honda when the time comes!
Fourth visit in eight days. Tire bad. Ok. They put in wrong tire pressure. Not ok. Bad battery one month after warranty ends. Ok. Now both key fobs dead. Can’t put car in neutral with dead battery. Bad engineering. No warning battery is gonna die. Why not? It’s 2023.
The folks at Patterson were all very friendly and easy to work with. I dealt with Chris Cornman (Internet sales mgr) first via email then phone. He started with 6% off sticker price and then met my price at 12% off without any hassle. I'm sure they still made plenty of $$, but I was satisfied. Rob Agu (in-house sales rep) met us at the door and took us on a test drive, helped us with paperwork and prepped us for financing. Rob was really good at explaining all the features of the vehicle as well. The GM, Steve Duran also dropped by to thank us and was really a down-to-earth guy.Then it was on to financing, which is always the challenging part of buying a car. Chase Crawford was our man and of course he had to do his part to make the company more money by trying to persuade us to more dealer-friendly banks, add-in extended warranties to my monthly payment, GAP protection, etc. I know, it's part of the process. He was actually fun to work with as his sense of humor was quite interesting! He did take off the ever-infamous hidden "theft deterrent" window etching charge that has been around forever and I appreciate his integrity for that. All-in-all I felt like I got a "good" deal and Patterson I'm sure did too. Would I buy from them again and have my care serviced there? Without a doubt ... yes! Good friendly folks that are much easier to work with then the metroplex, big-city wheeler & dealers!
